 Rehoming My Piano Update 

So, changes to the plan when I found someone interested in taking my piano, for free, to help alleviate the issue of the stress of a no fault Section 21. experience came to light.

Time for further research paid off.

And, I found a new home for my, much loved, piano, nevertheless.

It shall provide musical and aesthetic appreciation, in due course, I'm sure and I am glad and honoured to be able to contribute to the culture of this in the heart of the city:

Thanks to the Manager, Paul, of a very popular venue in Preston city centre who has accepted my donation you can also appreciate this now groovy and mellow vibe enhancing feature.

I must also thank my very special community helpers/neighbours, without whom this venture would never have happened.  

You know who you are!

Wishing all of my family, friends and furry/feathery/hooved companions, also, a Wonderful New Year!

My mind is on others facing the challenge of potential homelessness, particularly caused by being served a section 21., that basically enables a landlord to evict you without giving a reason - even though you might have paid the rent on time, all the time; been a good tenant and/or a longstanding tenant etc., just like me.

Yes, I have written to my local MP, and, received response(s), eventually, and also from, the RT Hon Michael Gove MP.

Even though, I have had to remind them of the right and honourable, but, more importantly, correct spelling of my surname!... 

Seriously(?!)

Well, if you're born one name, then brought up another, then, (bcos, it's required, by law, to pay, to reclaim your own name, bcos you just like it And It's yours anyway, then,...)

I mean, pedantics is one thing.  Though, accuracy, in regards to maintaining one's integrity, is another !

So,... , without digressing Too much:- 

Fortunately, I have found a place that I am imminently moving into, if not, as the Americans say, "already"!

However, without perseverance, a lot of patience, and prayers as well, as a service via my GP (that, through the said issue, I've only become aware is available), namely a signposting and supportive service, it could have been very different circumstances.

Anyway,...

So, instead of 'posting on social media', directly, I thought  I would write my Christmas Blog, whilst, hopefully encapsulating such a said theme regarding it.

It's a weirdly strange kind of comfort

In particular, for the Gaza/Palestine and Ukraine situations.

I also hope for help on high for viable sustainable options to beat the tragedies that we're presented with daily. 

From earthquakes to floods to volcanoes erupting etc.. 

People displaced. 

"Immigrants" seeking refuge, again and again.

We're all just people In this one land Called Earth

Yeah, I know, Spock would have a field day!

On that note,

Well, there has to be a musical reference in here, somewhere!

I experienced some scams on marketplace on Facebook...

And, nevertheless,

Courtesy of the no fault section 21. (your behaviour can be faultless, however a landlord can relinquish property back regardless) I am looking to re-home a well used, but much loved upright piano.

But, remember, if you're seriously interested, a piano is for life It's not just for Christmas !

So, the piano needs to be rehomed in/by early January. 

It's a Chappell make, in good working order, some wear and tear to be expected and with only a few superficial deficits, it's a bargain.

It has a, very, interesting history:

Originally offered to me, also for free (I just needed to make the delivery arrangements) by the primary school, Queens Drive, I provided it for the musical development of and for my son. 

Then, years later I was privileged to make it my own.

What with The Queen's passing in recent years, etc., I think it's history is very special .
